Speaker Program

Join our ranks of professional speakers and register for the Speakers Bureau!
Registration is free to members. When you register, you will have the opportunity to present your message in a more intimate setting to employees in their workplace.

  • How to Register
Please take a moment to look at our Speaker Bureau Flyer and select the seminar topics you are able to present. Once you have chosen your topics, please fill out the Speaker Registration Form and fax it back to us.
  • How Speakers Are Chosen
Our corporate clients submit requests for speakers based on topics that interest them and their employees. When we receive a request, we will offer the opportunity to you if you are signed up for that particular topic.

Please note: Speaking engagements are not opportunities to make a sales presentation. Their purpose is to educate employees about better health and lifestyle options.

5 Steps to a Successful Seminar

A great speaker knows the importance of making a good impression. Your interaction with the corporate host before, during and after your seminar will determine whether you will be invited to speak at companies in the future. Follow these five steps to seminar success:

  1. Initiate Contact
Call the corporate host to introduce yourself and ask if he or she needs anything from you before the class like a resume or an outline of your presentation. This is a great time to ask the host for a sign-up sheet so you will know how many attendees to expect at your seminar. And let your host know if you will have any special equipment requirements.
  2. Be Prepared
Several days before the seminar, assemble all your class materials such as handouts, overhead slides, notes, etc. Waiting until the day before may mean having to scramble to pick up supplies or print materials.
  3. Check In
Call and confirm your presentation with the corporate host the day before.
  4. Arrive Early
The day of the seminar arrive at least 10 minutes before your class is scheduled to begin.
  5. Respect Your Audience
Remember that your audience is there to be educated and to receive practical tips they can apply to their everyday life, not to sit through a hard-hitting sales pitch. Respect the personal time employees have set aside to attend your seminar and give them information they can put to good use.
